This
is the view from the sitting room of the Barnoon Terrace
flat. The new flats at Seabirds House are
2 minutes away and higher up - some have even better views
than this (click
here), some don't, and then the cost is lower. St Ives
is a brilliant place for holidays all the year round. It
was once a fishing village, and has a lovely harbour. When
the tide goes out the harbour is clean yellow sand. There
are lots of other beaches - one faces west and is great
for surfing. You can walk for miles along the cliffs. The
light, and the beauty of the place have always brought artists
- the town is liberally scattered with all kinds of galleries,
with art to browse and art to buy. There's the internationally
famous St Ives Tate Gallery, and you can also visit Barbara
Hepworth's house and sculpture garden.
Our Barnoon Terrace flat is
perfect for one person or a couple - it's comfortable, convenient,
and has this stunning view of the harbour, the sea and the
North Cornwall coast. Everyone who's been there loves it
